3Ls members are invited to take part in a Charity walk alongside the Forth & Clyde Canal, starting from Maryhill Burgh Hall, on the afternoon of Sunday 19 November 2017.
Participants are asked to make a minimum donation of £5 (for an individual) or £10 (for a family) towards the Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme, which is the President’s chosen charity for this year.
This guided walk will start at Maryhill Burgh Hall, leaving at 1.00 pm. Organised groups will walk along the route, following mainly surfaced paths alongside the Forth & Clyde Canal. The estimated time to complete the walk will be one and a half hours. Participants should dress appropriately and will require to accept responsibility for their personal safety during the event.
To take part in this fun event, please register in advance by leaving a completed booking form and your cash donation in an envelope marked with your name, at CLL Reception or the 3Ls office on floor 7 of the Centre for Lifelong Learning at 40 George Street by no later than noon on Thursday 17 November 2017.
Do encourage friends and family to join us and please feel free to make a donation even if you are not able to come along on the day!
