As 2021 gets underway, we hope we can see some prospect of us being able to return to the Centre for Lifelong Learning to take part in classes, 3Ls Clubs and events – and of course to see friends face to face again – before too long.
During this 2020/21 membership year, we have been posting updates about the Association on our website https://3ls.website/ It has also been very interesting to follow development of the CLL team’s new online class programme and to read regular updates in “The Chat”, the new CLL newsletter.
Since the autumn, many 3Ls Clubs have organised their meetings via Zoom and if you have not already tried these out, we recommend them as a fun way to stay in touch with 3Ls friends and continue with the sociable informal learning opportunities these offer.
Our Lunchtime Talks webinars have been well attended and there are still places available for the February and March talks. To register, follow this information link https://3ls.website/lunchtime-talks/
Lastly, if you would like to share any useful hints or tips for online learning which we can post in our “Keeping Connected” tab on the website, please do send these in to Nicola Bodys at the 3Ls office. We know there is a whole new online world of learning out there and we would love to hear from you!
