Along with representatives of other SOPA affiliated organisations John Parkhill, 3Ls President,
spoke out at the Scottish Older People’s Assembly about the unique daytime programme of
classes at the Centre for Lifelong Learning at Strathclyde University, the volunteering work of
older students, the self-managing Clubs, and the travel and outward bound activities that
contribute undoubtedly to health and wellbeing in later life.
