3Ls members and friends are invited to take part in a guided Charity walk in Glasgow City Centre on the afternoon of Sunday 18 March 2018. This urban walk will feature highlights of the architectural career of Sir John James Burnet.
Participants are asked to make a minimum donation of £5 (for an individual) or £10 (for a family) towards the Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme, which is the President’s chosen charity for this year.
This guided walk will start at Glasgow Central Station, leaving at 11.30 am, from the tour booth inside the station, next to the Clock in the centre of the main concourse. Our Group will follow surfaced paths and the walk will take approximately two hours, ending near Buchanan Street Underground station. Participants should dress appropriately and will require to accept responsibility for their personal safety during the event.
To take part in this fun event, please register in advance by leaving a completed booking form and your cash donation in an envelope marked with your name, at CLL Reception or the 3Ls office on floor 7 of the Centre for Lifelong Learning at 40 George Street by no later than 4.00pm on Thursday 15 March 2018.
Do encourage friends and family to join us and please feel free to make a donation even if you are not able to come along on the day!
