Christmas Toy Appeal 2020
A group of Strathclyde Business School students as part of their MDP programme, are running a ‘Christmas Toy’ appeal for children living in poverty in Glasgow.
Due to current circumstances, the appeal will be unable to accept donations of actual gifts as in previous years, but the University’s charity and school partners are still very much needing our support, so the appeal is asking for cash donations only. The students will then buy and distribute gifts.
Last year’s appeal was very successful, with over 1,750 presents being distributed to some of the most disadvantaged children in the city. Hopefully, we can do something similar this year, despite the circumstances.
A message from the students;
We are a group of third year business students organising Strathclyde’s Christmas Toy Appeal this year. The appeal is still going ahead but with some slight changes. Unfortunately, we will only be accepting cash donations instead of presents. We will then buy presents and distribute them around Glasgow to children who are in need and who, without these donations, might experience Christmas without receiving a present.
